Just read a little bit about the #1 Best Small Company to Work for in America for 2009. (Third time they are #1!)
Based on their news, they seem to be doing all right in the business world, in addition to being liked by their employees.
One comment from Beth Nighbor, the HR leader for Badger, caught my attention. You see so often we hear statements like “customers are our #1 priority” and “safety first!” If ever a company could apply one or both of those it would be Badger working in the mining industry supporting a competitive energy industry. But what did Nighbor say?
“If you take care of the people, the rest will take care of itself.”
